Domestic Ministries
As one arm of our domestic ministries, Bubba serves as Associate Pastor of The Anchor Church, our home church, in Tupelo, MS, our US base.  Established in 2012, this is a new church plant, whose focus is reaching outside the church walls and ministering to those who are hurting around us by offering help, hope and healing to those in need in our surrounding communities. There we work through Grace and Mercy Ministries under the auspices of our church in several different capacities.  This involves working with the individuals who are enrolled in faith-based, nine-month addiction-recovery programs.
Currently, there are two addiction recovery homes:  “The Transformation Ranch” for men and “The Transformation Home” for ladies.  Our church is also currently in the process of completing construction on a new facility to be called “The Transformation Place.” This new development will serve as a faith-based orientation and training program for reentry into society for long-term incarcerated men.
Additionally, construction is now underway on a temporary facility to house ladies who are victims of human trafficking.  Plans are underway for this ministry, “The Transformation Garden,” to open officially in July of 2019.  The permanent facility is to be constructed on The Anchor Church’s property where The Ranch is now located– and The Anchor Church is eventually to be permanently located– on over fifty acres directly on the Pontotoc/Lee County Line on the southern boundary of Highway 278 in southern Lee County.
In regards to “The Transformation Garden,” we have been extremely blessed by a partnership with Eight Days of Hope.  Their founder and CEO, Steve Tybor, has generously volunteered to provide the labor needed to construct the permanent “Garden” facility, with building to begin in January of 2020.  Additionally, a local Cowboy Church has contributed several horses to us for use in our developing Equine-based therapy for the residents of this new ministry.
We assist these ministries in various ways including teaching some of their required coursework in evening-class settings.  Mentoring and accountability partnering with various participants of these programs is also ongoing. Additionally, Rockie teaches the ladies of the Home in Sunday School.  We will also be involved with the new ministries soon to begin, as well.
In his role as Associate Pastor, Bubba’s emphasis is outreach, evangelism and member visitation and care. Rockie continues to lead in music and worship, as needed, and plans are currently underway to begin new creative-arts-based ministries, as well.
Another huge slice of the domestic arm of Lifesong Evangelism involves distributing tracts and participating in street evangelism at festivals and special events throughout the mid-south USA.  This is in addition to our travel throughout North America to conduct workshops in personal and church evangelism and in creative arts and movement-based  worship and evangelism, as well as to participate in a diverse array of evangelistic opportunities and endeavors.
